Senior School Nutrition Specialist
woman in garden

Becca is a registered dietitian with over 13 years’ experience in furthering child nutrition through food access, education and school nutrition programs.

Originally from Massachusetts, she fell in love with New Hampshire while completing her Master of Science in Nutrition and dietetic internship program at the University of New Hampshire.

From there, she immersed herself in the state’s communities, addressing food insecurity as Cooking Matters Program Coordinator at the New Hampshire Food Bank. This role frequently required her to fill in for volunteer of nutrition and culinary instructors, and it was through these experiences that she saw the value that program participants placed on fresh dairy foods. Her current responsibilities New England Dairy allow her to help keep local dairy in the minds and on the tables of New England families by supporting school meal programs, as well as providing food and agriculture education to various audiences, including students, dietetic interns and health and wellness professionals.

She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dieteticsthe Hunger and Environmental Dietetic Practice Group and has held several Board of Director positions for New Hampshire Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She also participated in the 2016 Food Solutions New England Network Leadership Institute and systems network teams and is a mentor for dietetic interns.

Becca lives in Durham, NH with her husband, two cats and dog. Off work hours she enjoys a quick trip to ocean, nearby trails and the mountains. She can also be found encouraging her garden to grow -so that she and her husband can enjoy fresh vegetables and herbs with favorite dairy foods.
