The Moo Squad is back in 2024! We’re excited to announce New England Dairy was awarded two Boston Marathon charity bibs by the city of Boston. Our two Moo Squad runners have helped bring in $24,000 to support New England Dairy’s wellness programming in Boston.
Get to know our runners leading up to race day, and help us cheer them on as they run the 26.2 miles from Hopkinton to Boylston St.
Emma van Duijnhoven
Emma is a recent graduate of the Tufts University Community Health and Environmental Studies programs. She’s been running on and off since she was 10 when she participated in her school’s Girls on the Run program. For Emma, running is a form of social exercise and “a way to explore Boston, catch up with my friends, and be outside.” It’s also an opportunity to disconnect from daily stress. “I am so much happier, more grounded, and productive if I can get outside so I try to run or walk outside as much as possible!”
Fast facts about Emma:
Go to pre-race meal: Toast with almond butter, banana, cinnamon, and honey
Best post-race meal: Pasta with pesto
Favorite dairy food: I am a firm believer that everything is better with cheese
Favorite race she’s run so far: Cambridge Half Marathon
Fun fact: Emma’s dad grew up on a dairy farm in the Netherlands where they milked between 150 to 200 cows. Her family members still own farms in the area.
Katelin Isakoff
Katelin is also a recent Tufts graduate. She’s currently working in healthcare research before starting medical school next year. For Katelin, running is a way to stay active, connect with friends, and explore Boston. She’s only been running for 6 months but is excited to train for the Boston Marathon, which will be her first full marathon. What keeps her motivated to run? “The people around me!”
Fast facts about Katelin:
Go to pre-race meal: Pasta
Best post-race meal: Smoothies
Favorite dairy food: Ice Cream

Best of luck to Emma and Katelin and all those running the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2024!
