Vermont Open Farm Week is August 4-11, 2024. New England Dairy is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Vermont Open Farm Week by covering the cost of registration for Vermont dairy farmers.
About Vermont Open Farm Week
Vermont Open Farm Week is an annual celebration organized by members of the Vermont Farm to Plate Network including City Market, DigInVT.com, Shelburne Farms and Farm‐Based Education, NOFA‐VT, University of Vermont Extension, Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Vermont Fresh Network, and the Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing. Since its inception in 2015, Vermont Open Farm Week has encouraged members of the public to learn about Vermont farms and local agriculture.
NED Covering Registration Fee for Vermont Dairy Farmers
Farmers must register to participate Vermont Open Farm Week with DigIn VT before requesting funding from New England Dairy. The deadline to register is July 1, 2024. This will ensure your farm and event(s) are included in promotional materials.
New England Dairy will reimburse the $50 recommended registration fee for up to 15 Vermont dairy farms participating in Vermont Open Farm Week. The reimbursement is available to producers of cow’s milk. New England Dairy reserves the right to deny requests that do not follow the requirements outlined in the dairy promotion and research order issued by USDA.
